Adam Mostel

I'm a game designer with over five years of experience shipping gameplay, creatures, and content across AAA and indie MMORPGs - and am currently working on a personal project in the online Action RPG genre.

My focus has always been at the intersection of combat, AI, and the kind of world-building that makes an online game feel alive. I got to do that work at ZeniMax on Elder Scrolls Online, at Intrepid on Ashes of Creation, and earlier at Visionary Realms on Pantheon - where I also established the enemy ecology and behavior frameworks that became the foundation for how creatures functioned in that world. That last part is the work I care most about: not just designing encounters, but giving the world something to say through the things that live in it.

Before games, I spent nearly a decade in operational leadership at a Fortune 500 healthcare company, eventually as a Director. Those experiences shaped how I scope, document, and drive work across disciplines - and it shows up every time I own a feature from napkin sketch through ship.

When I'm not building games, I'm usually playing them - pushing server-first achievements, 98th+ percentile parses, and leading roleplaying guilds. Twenty years of that and counting.
